Strange Animas of the SEA - 입체북

 National Geographic Action Book에서 만든 Strange Animas of the SEA 입체북으로 즐기는 영어공부입니다.

 입체북으로 아이들이 손으로 책을 여는 순간 화려하고 신기한 바다속의 동물이 짠~하고 사실감있게 나타나서 감탄사가 쏟아지는 그림책입니다.

 첫 페이지에 있는 hermit crab 에 대한 설명과 입체그림입니다.

 A hermit crab waves its claws,busily looking for small worms or shrimps. It lives in a shell that was left by another animal, for it does not grow its own.

 소라 껍질을 등에지고 있는 게를 표현한 것인데 소라껍질에는 말미잘도 붙어 있는 그림입니다.

 그리고 Giant kelp plant, Goosefish, coral reef, hammerhead shark octopus 로 구성되어 있습니다. 그 중 coral reef의 그림은 화려하고 예쁘게 표현되어 있습니다. In the underwater world of a coral reef, many creatures seek safety and food. The reef itself was built by millions of tiny animals. Long and slinky, moray eels rest in holes by day and hunt at night.

 책 속에서 펼쳐지는 바다속의 아름다움을 입체 그림으로 표현하고 그림의 곳곳에서 조그만 생물들의 모습을 찾아보는 재미와 간단히 움직여 볼 수 있게 구성되어 있습니다.  

 추가적으로 책의 주요내용을 표현한 영어 글로 마무리합니다.

 From sunny shallow water to the dark deep sea, the ocean is full of amazing creatures. many plants grow in shallow water where the light is bright. Strange-looking fish and other animals live among the plants and find food there.
